Received pergola quicker then expected. Everything was in order. Waiting to get it installed. Can’t wait!
I’ve had my pergola installed for a few weeks now and have been impressed. Not only with the way it looks, but the watertight panels. I can sit outside now and enjoy a rainstorm, while staying dry. I purchased Skylift roof risers separately and love the result. I wanted more than a 8 foot clearing and skylift makes a great product that works with the sunset pergola kits. The roof is about 9-9.5 feet high now. Open, airy, I love it. Took 2 days for my contractor to install it. Highly recommend the product. Worth the money. Only down side- when acorns fall from the tree and hit the roof, it is very loud. Luckily, they only fall in this area for about a month every year so it’s not an everyday thing.
So far, so good. Everything arrived in good shape and I’m very excited get it installed. I didn’t get notified when the shipping would arrive, but the delivery was dropped off safely while I was away. The directions appear to be be well spelled out. Again, very excited to get this installed. I will up date afterwards.
The pergola kit arrived in excellent condition. We were a little challenged in putting it together because we had to reduce the 12 foot kit down to 10 foot. The final product adds character to the house. Very happy with our purchase.
Overall, I give this kit five stars. My kit was the traditional style, 16x16, freestanding version. First of all, when I placed the order I had to sign documentation that their record of my order corresponded to what I thought I ordered. That was impressive. Second, my estimated delivery was one month, and they beat that by two weeks. The kit itself arrived in perfect condition. I was immediately impressed by the weight of the pieces. Fortunately, the aluminum structural cores could be easily slipped out of the vinyl covers to make handling of the pieces easier. The aluminum structural cores are very stout, and the vinyl covers are impressively thick. All of the pieces fit together perfectly. You need a good impact socket drill/driver to drive the self-tapping connecting bolts into the aluminum structural material. The instructional videos are very good, however, bear in mind that the videos are based on mock-ups that are at floor level. The bulk of your pergola assembly will be 8 to 10 feet off the ground. That makes a big difference! Also, It is a 2 man job. I managed it solo, but I knew how to rig block and tackle, etc. I strongly recommend that you do not try it solo. Find a friend, or hire an assembler. The final assembled pergola is beautiful. I could not be happier.

I am 65 years old and put the kit together by myself. It was a challenge but doable. The quality of the materials is quite impressive and should be maintenance free for many years to come. The DIY videos were very helpful.

The end result of our 16x12 white vinyl pergola is exactly what we wanted--it's beautiful and the 90% shade option really helps with our southwestern sun exposure. Our contractors found assembly difficult and took three days to complete it. Overall, we love the pergola and look forward to enjoying our time outside this summer.
Built my pergola 2 years ago. Materials provided are superior quality and well worth the expense. No regrets. My patio is much more inviting and comfortable since I installed the pergola.

I purchased a 12’ x 16’ attached pergola kit. It came exactly as described, with all necessary parts and hardware. I could have done it myself, but chose to have a local handyman do the install. He was very impressed by the quality of the material and parts, right down to the screws holding the purlins.
Thought is was going to be complicated ,but the install was easy and looks beautiful.Everything was shipped perfectly all pieces were there the directions were easy to follow
