Area Rep Dashboard
Welcome to the SPK Area Rep Network! Please take a few minutes to watch the welcome video. It answers key questions new Area Reps often have, including:
- How do I get started?
- Where do I get promotional materials?
- How should I promote Sunset pergolas?
- How do I find the price for a pergola?
- How do I prepare a quote?
Please bookmark this Dashboard page and refer to it often, particularly the How-To's and Resources section. And make sure to take advantage of our $150 of Free Promotional Materials offer for new Area Reps (in the box with a yellow background).

Installation Instructions
Area Rep Store
All of the promotional and marketing materials in our Area Rep Store are listed at cost (no price mark-ups). We do not make any profit on these items. We only offer them to make it as easy as possible for you to generate pergola sales. Click here if you'd rather print any of these items yourself.
SPECIAL OFFER FOR NEW AREA REPS: Once you complete your first pergola sale, we will reimburse you for everything you've already spent at the Area Rep Store (up to a maximum of $150). For example, after becoming an Area Rep, if you purchase $150 of promotional items and your first sale generates a $800 commission, your first payment from us will be for $950 (the $800 commission plus a $150 reimbursement).
Your Coupon Code
Your commissions are tracked based on the coupon code your customers use when placing their order here on the SPK website. To ensure you're credited for each sale you're responsible for generating, we recommend that you assist your customers with ordering their pergola kit (either in person or over the phone, or by placing the order for them). The coupon code also gives your customers a $150 discount, which should give them incentive to use your coupon code.
Your unique coupon code was sent to you when you first became an Area Rep. It is comprised of 2 parts, with a "dash" in between each part:
- The name of your city
- The initials of your first and last name
For example, if your name was John Smith (JS) and you were an Area Rep for the city of Lakeview, your unique coupon code would be LAKEVIEW-JS (in all caps).
Assembly Information
Some of your customers may decide to assemble their pergola themselves, but most will want you to assemble it for them. You can charge your customers however much you'd like to install their pergola; that's between you and your customer. (But it may be helpful to note that most of our Area Reps seem to charge $500 - $1,000 for assembly.)
Assembling a pergola is a 2-person job, so you'll either need to hire a helper or possibly work alongside your customer to assemble the pergola. Your first couple of installs will probably take 1.5 - 2 days, but you should pretty quickly get to the point where you and your helper can do an installation in just 1 day.
To assemble a Sunset Pergola Kit, you'll need a level, a measuring tape, a ladder, a drill with a 6" extension (and common drill bits & drivers), and a circular or miter saw. Click here for more information about assembly and to read assembly FAQs.
FAQs & Contact Info
Our goal is to help you be successful as an Area Rep. If you have any questions, suggestions or feedback, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Almost all assembly-related questions will be answered in the installation instructions (linked to in the "How-To's & Resources" section above) or in our supplementary 12-part video series on how to assemble a Sunset Pergola.
Most other questions are addressed on the Sunset Pergola Kits FAQs Page or on the Area Rep Program FAQs Page, both of which we are constantly updating and improving.
